You would be better off walking to the grocery store and buying a frozen pizza. Davanza's pizza is nothing more than that with some additional toppings cut up and thrown on top. Also, if you do delivery, don't expect it to be warm when it gets to you. Gross.

This is the hot spot for those young-un's for lunch after a good day on the mountain. My friend who hails from Lake Tahoe was like "oooh pizza" and I was like "oooh really? Utah?" Nonetheless, we dined here. You order at the register, then find a seat, so I can see come lunch time during busy season, this could be a bit of problem. The spot is super casual, friendly and just a great local spot with great prices, hence a dinning room full of 12 year olds - 25 year olds. My friend picked up a personal pizza and I went with the chicken Philly cheesesteak. Everything was good! Nothing mind blowing at all, the pizza was thin crust and the cheesesteak was in a big ole roll, but definitely a decent spot for a quick lunch.

This would have been a 4 star review if it hadn't been for the 45 min wait to get 2 slices of pizza. The only reason we came into this place is because we were waiting for a seat at High West across the street. Anyways, we ordered our 2 slices of pepperoni pizza and 2 beers for $13 (not bad!!) and everybody around us gets their food, eats and leaves, and we are still waiting for our food! We are starving to death and the delicious smell of all the food around us makes it even worse. We finally got our food and the pizza was great, which kind of made up for the wait but I was still a bit upset. The place is VERY small, so you will be squeezed in between 20 other people at all times. Apparently it's a place frequented by locals so if you want to get away from the touristy spots this is the place.

GREAT pizza (thin crust w/ fresh ingredients - awesome italian sausage). Atmosphere is local/casual. Highly recommended! (Prices reasonable - esp. for Park City...)

  • Ari M.

The pizza was solid, as was the cheesy garlic bread. Very thin crust, so if that's not your thing, look elsewhere. I consider myself a pizza snob, and this place was more than acceptable.

  • David M.

This is a locals' type place. The walls are full of empty beer cans from floor to celling on the walls. The beer is cold and they have several local brews. We got a pizza and chicken Philly sub. The pizza is thin crust, a fave of mine. The sauce is light, with very good flavor. It had a fair amount of toppings. My wife raved about the chicken Philly sub. It was toasted and full of cheese and seasoned chicken. It also comes with green peppers, onions, lettuce, tomato and mayo. There is nothing fancy about this place, but if you are looking for good food, you will be very happy you went to Davanzas.

Been coming here since 1998 and it still rocks. Chicken philly is fantastic and fry sauce...yes please.

Best pizza in town. The Subs are great too, especially the Philly. I'd highly recommend this place if your looking for something simple and at a good price.

Best philly steak ever!! You must try!

Great service. Friendly staff. Excellent pizza. Thin crust perfectly crisped and great sauce. Some of the best pizza I have had. Make a stop if your going to be in the area. You won't be disappointed.

We were on the fence between this place and another. Hands down the best decision!! Food is amazing. I had the Philly and a Slice! Uhhmazing!

  • Rob A.

Pizza was okay. Sauce and cheese were good but the crust felt too thin and crispy, almost like a bagel chip or cracker.

    (3)
  • Antonio C.

Pizza was very good but the cheese fries were the bomb! Awesome staff too. Matt was super friendly and very attentive. Definitely try this place if your in Park City

I can't believe how good the food is here, I really can't.... I was trying this place for the first time and was sadden they don' t have a place like this in California..... or may just sadden I have to find it. But I finished my food full, and was wondering if I should get something to go. The sandwiches are GREAT try the Chicken Parmesan. It's definitely the business. Only thing I wish it had a bigger inside this place can get pretty packed especially in the winter when it's snowing outside.

This place stinks. Pizza is mediocre at best. Just head up the street to Main St Pizza and Noodle. Much better.

Just looking for a place to get a bit to eat on a pleasant summer evening. First of all you can't find many places in the middle of Park City this affordable. Casual dining atmosphere with 3 tv's and walls decorated with beer cans. Our 9 month old was very entertained! The service was prompt and friendly. We had the Pepperoni Pizza and Philly cheese steak sandwich. I love when simple foods are made fresh and are full of flavor! The pizza is flavorful and thin crust! The sandwich was huge and full of meat, onions, peppers and mushrooms. Portions are huge, and with our salad they gave us the bottle of ranch dressing. The fry sauce is different with a little Italian flavor to it , we really liked it. Did I mention that we ate all this food for under 20 bucks! What's not to love about that! If your in the area try this place out you'll be pleasantly surprised!

Pizza was fine but Dear Lord the hot buffalo wings are the bomb! What a uniquely awesome spicy taste. Loved it (and I'm a spicy snob)

Davanza's masters simplicity and single handily makes me miss home. The menu includes your typical items - cheesesteak, pizza, ect. - but with slight variations with differentiate a Davanza's experience from a visit at other places. The classic rock always blares; the excellent clerks and cooks always have something interesting on TV; and the beer cans and pictures from customers continue to stretch across the parlor's walls. Choose this place for a chill, quick meal, and you can't miss ordering most menu items.

  • David M.

This place is great!!! It's oozing with atmosphere and serves up outstanding pizza at very reasonable prices. Staff is super-helpful and nice. The pizza comes to your table piping hot with a crust that's firm enough to hold a bunch of cheese and toppings, yet flaky enough to blend with all the tasty flavors. They play cool music from the 70's and 80's as well!

  • Tiffani M.

Great place for pizza! It had a wide variety of good in addition to pizza I.e. Hamburgers, salads, wings, etc. we had pizza delivered and they were right on time, even for a later evening just before closing. Will definitely eat there again!

This is the place to be (or order from) if you are looking for an great down to earth dinner in what can feel like a overpriced resort town. The pizza was delicious and the employees were very welcoming. Our group split up, half of us ate in, the others had dinner delivered - both were excellent!!!

  • Vanitha S.

Thankfully there was a delicious, affordable restaurant among all the over-priced ones in Park City! This place is great...slightly divey hole-in-the-wall place with friendly staff and bustling customers ranging from tourists to locals to cops. I love how you could order pizzas or tacos or beer. Portions were a good size, prices very reasonable.

    (4)
  • Gene H.

I loved the pizza. Nice and thin just the way I like it. Affordable price for two slices and a drink. Local feel inside.

  • Ryan F.

Davanza's is off Main Street, which is (probably) why their prices are better than Red Banjo (which we ordered from another time). For delivery fee, they charge $3 as opposed to Red Banjo's $5. For pizza that isn't from New York, I was impressed by the generous toppings on our half-BBQ chicken, half-Margherita pie. Although we only ordered a medium, they made us a large and didn't charge anything for the difference.

Never a bad meal here. Very relaxed, chill environment. A local (and ski bum) favorite and it captures Park City culture perfectly. We lived in Park City for years & continue to visit for lunch at every time we return. The only downside is how extremely popular it is. Sometimes seating is difficult to find & wait times are longer for food during peak times. A must!

  • Matthew N.

Good pizza but kinda small and uncomfortable. I wouldn't really sit around and hang out with friends there, even though there are TVs. More of an eat-and-leave place.

Decent first-night, I'm tired spot to stop. Great service. Pizza is just plain decent, nothing more.

on this sunday night we were feeling lazy (and the snow made me not want to go out) so decided to have some pizza delivered to us. davanza's was awesome! the customer service was excellent (from us calling to order the pizza to the delivery guy)! we were told it would take 35 minutes and it actually only took 25 minutes - i love it when people are early! what's even better is that they provided us with PLENTY of napkins and paper plates....... i've never seen pizza hut or any other pizza place do that before! it's the small things that count. when the pizza was in the house i could smell it and was so excited to dive in and eat up! we ordered a small margherita and combination. the combination by far was the better choice! would definitely order from them again - we are both satisfied!

We were in PC for Sundance and were looking for a breakfast place.. asked around and were directed to this place. At first glance from the outside it looked like a whole in the wall.. which it was and so we kept passing it by. Nevertheless after trying to find a breakfast place with no luck on Mainstreet we landed here. Ordered burgers and since we were hungry did'nt really think we were going to get anything quality. When the food came, the portion size was a little smaller than we expected given the 8-9$ price on just the burger... however the burgers were delicious. Juicy with meat that tasted like never frozen and yummy!

Great pizza, chill atmosphere. Nothing over the top, but a great place to come for a good pizza and a beer.

Decent place to grab lunch. The chicken philly was pretty good, though the bread had a weird rubbery texture. Kind of like when you defrost bread in the microwave for too long.

  • Cassidy E.

I absolutely love their pizza. I hardly go to Park City but when i do i make sure to stop here. I really like thin crust pizza. That's all they have for crust so if you're not a thin crust person you might not like it. I've never tried their burgers or tacos so i can't say anything about that.

    (5)
  • Emily H.

Delicious chicken parm sandwich!!! Fry sauce is, hands down, the best in park city! Owner is so nice and has a great thing going! Definitely recommend. Nothing on the menu we don't like :)

    (5)
  • Desiree M.

The pizza is delicious if you like thin crust. If thick crust or hand tossed is your thing don't get the pizza. Slices are only 2.75. The carne Asada taco, and grilled chicken taco is fantastic and only 2.50 per. The Philly cheesesteak sandwich seems to be the rave in here as about 75% of the peeps in here were eating it, so we decided to make a second stop to try it. If your not in the mood for a pizza try the steak Philly its pretty amazing! You must get there fry sauce for everything!

  • Alec V.

Delivery took over an hour and we were six blocks away. Quality of the pizza was similar to that of Tombstone frozen pizza. Needless to say, I wasn't impressed. If you're new to Park City looking for pizza delivery, look elsewhere.

After a long day of driving, we went here to kick back. Had been before, but we're not disappointed again. You,d not choose it by the "look" outside, but a fun plac. Love the look with all the beer cans on the walls. Three TVs for watching events. GREAT individual pizzas....love the thin, not greasy and gooey crust. Toppings well distributed and sufficient quantity. Great sausage. Caesar salad on the side was typical, nothing of note. Beers on tap and bottled. The cheeseburgers all looked good. Friendly staff, fast service. We will be back.

  • Adrian B.

Loved the pizza and all of the old cans lining the walls.

  • Bryan A.

Don't be intimidated by this place! I don't think anyone knows what to expect right before they walk in. And then they see it...thousands of old beer cans on every bit of wall space in the tiny place. Don't worry, they have good food and draft beer!!! If you have a group of people, get an order of wings and any pizza. It's all good here. Wings either come in BBQ or HOT and the hot is HOT. When I asked for ranch, they brought me an entire container and not just some 2 oz cup of sauce. The huge ranch container was awesome OR the server was just lazy. The pizza here was also quite good...especially with that huge container of RANCH! (not sure I mentioned that) Wings come in orders of 12 (which is kind of a lot, good to share). I think pizzas come in 10" personal, 14" and 16". The prices here aren't terrible. They feature cheap huge cans of PBR but also have about 6 drafts on tap. It's a fun place to chill. I will say the food runner that night was in a terrible mood. She was just kinda throwing down food on the tables and was super pissy. Matter of fact, she's the one who brought the ranch. She kinda made up for her bad attitude by bringing that container. Check the posted pics for the Ranch Container!

I think your view on this place depends on why you are in Park City. If you are skiing/snowboarding, just finished your last run, and want a beer and a slice for cheap, in a chill, non-pretentious environment. Then Davanza's is going to be your place. Every wall reminds me of a college dorm room as every inch is lined with old beer cans. There is no ID check at the door, so you'll find a younger crowed here getting their munch on. If this is your situation, then I 100 percent recommend this location. However, I am not much of a skier and when I'm in Park City, it's to party. I came here after leaving the High West Distillery across the street. I was hungry, and this served my intoxicated need for food, and price. But it was only a pit stop to the next party location. So don't come to party, come to eat, leave, and head to the next thing. Unless your 15 years old, then come to party and chill a while.

Well we just tried to order a pizza from this place. Had to call twice over 3 hours and got two different excuses. First was "the oven broke" and then an hour later it was "actually man, the real reason was that we delivered your pizza to the wrong house." So after all that no discount and no apology. Even when we asked for some kind of make-it-right gesture. So weird and a terrible way to run a restaurant. By the way, this is first bad review I have ever written on yelp. Good luck with this place! :) we never got our pizza.

Great pizza at affordable places. This pizza parlor is located off the Main St. on Park Ave., away from the masses, but don't let that fool you as this place can get quite crowded for those in the know. Walking into this place is a guy's paradise. The walls are plastered with tons of beer cans of all types, jerseys, old antique sports signs, photos, as well as a large poster paying tribute to Bob Marley. Order by the counter and grab a seat. If you've ordered pies, they'll drop it off on your table. Our party of 7 ordered 3 pies which was just the right amount of pizza without any of us overeating. We ordered: - BBQ Chicken (Large: $18.50) - BBQ sauce, chicken, red onion, cilantro. Tender chicken with a thick sweet and tangy bbq sauce made this one tasty pie. The cilantro was apparent on top but you couldn't really taste it. The red onions were also cooked enough to take away that strong onion flavor. A good combination of ingredients making for a great pie but not stellar. - Combination - (Large: $18.50) - Pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms, onions. This was downright the big hit for everyone. Who doesn't love pepperoni and sausage. Despite the latter two proteins, this pie wasn't too greasy. It had just the right amount of saltiness cut by the mushrooms and onions. Mmm, yum! However, if there was one thing I could fix with this pie is to somehow retain some moisture within the sausage bits. - Vegetarian (Large: $19.50) - Mushrooms, onions, bell peppers, broccoli, black olives. This was the least favorite for everyone. A healthy pie, but drab in flavor. The vegetables were fresh but it didn't pop with a lot of flavor. I guess I'm a sucker for meats on my pie (i.e. pepperoni, sausage, chicken). If you're in the Park City area and looking for a budget (or cheaper than the Park City norm) place to eat, you should definitely put this place on your radar. This is one great pizza joint that are recognized by the many locals and tourists alike.

my bro and i were in town for the sundance film festival this year, and were lucky to find this little gem. pizza is not the greatest i've had, but it's decent...plus, at $2.75 a slice for pepperoni or cheese, it's a bargain! was perfect for us, because we were on a tight budget. the place can get crowded at times, but you're always welcome to sit at the counter. love the beer can decor, and everyone who works there is super chill and incredibly nice...but then again, everyone i bumped to in utah seemed unnaturally friendly haha if i ever find myself in the area again, definitely would drop by!

Great pizza but the Philly cheesesteak cannot be missed. Man that fry sauce is good

  • Kazu O.

This review is for delivery food. Apparently many people like the vibe in the restaurant, but i didnt experience that. The pizza is like how another reviewer described it, cardboard crust... The vegetables were undercooked, the sausage was just bad, and all the toppings were distributed in the center... Also got the chicken fingers which were mainly batter and not much chicken... The best part of the meal was the fry sauce, which isnt a good thing... Next time in Park City, I'm ordering domino's or pizza hut.

I went here with my wife when we got a free weekend stay in Park City. We were up by main street and decided to go for a walk. This place was a little off main st. so it was not as crowded. It is a smaller joint but they are very friendly and the orders move very quickly. My wife and I got our own slices of pizza and drinks, and it was some of the best 'pizza by the slice' pizza i've had in Utah. The atmosphere in park city is great, and davanzas adds to it with its unique setup and great staff. Its a pizza joint and it seems to be set up for the local skiers so don't expect fancy. It was very good and I plan to go back.

This is the best little local secret for skiers on the Park City Mountain Resort slopes. Ski right down to the town chair lift, click out and walk only one block to this cantina just a block off Main. I actually found it while walking through Park City looking for somewhere to grab a quick bite for my daughter. I didn't want white linen or over priced coffee and needed somewhere that I could take a minor. Hard to find in Park City! I noticed all of the skis and snowboards leaning against the front deck of Devanzas and figured it must be a ski/snowboarder hang out. It was perfect. They serve pizza and an assortment of tacos (the tacos were great!) burgers plus good beer. We came back three times during our week long stay. I'm really sorry I didn't get a chance to try the Phili Cheesesteak, it looked really good! Prices are great for the area. Much less expensive than the ski lodge prices for lunch. The interior walls are lined with signs and beer or soda cans from yesteryear. The adults in the group had a great time looking around and commenting "I remember that can" or "too bad that company isn't around anymore, they were so big when we were kids". The seating area is tight and a bit worn but perfect for the crowd that it serves. I'll be back next time we are in Park City.

  • Chris S.

The Pizza here is good. Its more of a Rocky Mountain style pizza. Which is good but I wouldn't consider to be my favorite. We got a Pepperoni and Jalapeno pizza and wings. The Pizza was good and the wings were great. The staff here was very friendly and extremely helpful. The atmosphere of the restaurant is really cool they have one of the coolest beer can collections I have ever seen.

  • Camille K.

One of the better pizza places in park city. They recently changed their recipe so the crust is different, liked the old one better. Customer service is great and it takes about 10-15 minutes for the pizza to be ready. Great local and cozy atmosphere

  • Cam T.

The restaurant with a skier atmosphere that also doesn't fit the stereotype of Utah. Great food and great people. A common stop for me.

  • Laura C.

2.5 stars - I went to this place while while on vacation in Park City with my family. We wanted something inexpensive that would please everyone (even kids) so pizza seemed like a natural choice. After reading good reviews on Yelp, we decided to go here. I really liked the vibe. It has that divey, no frills atmosphere, not the greatest for kids, but oh well. The service was okay, but the food was very mediocre. Those who know me know I love pizza. Bad pizza is better than no pizza and crust is king. This couldn't've been more true at Davanza's. The crust was like a cardboardy cracker, which, for me, can kill a perfectly good pizza. If in Park City again, I would go back, but would probably stick with the beer.

    (2)
  • Sterling P.

This used to be my wife and I's favorite pizza place in the whole state of Utah but ever since they changed their crust recipe to be like a cardboard saltine cracker it's just not that good. I would rather order Papa John's over this stuff. Very disappointed with the change in recipe.

Had the cheese fries which were awesome. Also had the vegetarian pizza which was quite good. Order your food at the bar, but bartender was great and so were the other staffers. Will definitely be coming back here!

Davonza's is by far the most local spot in Park City. Everything on the menu is amazing plus the prices are great. You can get a slice of pizza, fries, and a drink for about 6 dollars. Make sure to try their fry sauce it is by far the best. Rumor has it they put beer in their pizza batter to give it a better flavor. The tacos are amazing sounds weird but even though theyre from a pizza place they are some of the best tacos i have had. If i could give Davonza's 6 stars i would.

    (5)
  • Emily P.

Pizza- good. Chicken tenders- not so much. Nice place to hang out with friends, if you are lucky enough to snag a table... cool atmosphere and affordable in town! The location at Kimball is less exciting, but if you're looking for some takeout or a quick meal, not a bad way to go!

    (3)
  • E.M. B.

Love, love, love Davanzas Park Ave, the original and BEST of all the Davanzases :) Pizza is always great, philly is one of my faves, and the tacos are amazing. Staff is friendly and 'Cheers'-esque. They know your name AND your order! Oh, and in response to David B's comment about the 'perfectly round crust, so it must be frozen'... well, sir, you can watch them make the dough and your pizza, as you can see into the kitchen. They use a circular pizza pan to outline the dough, duh, so you don't end up with an unattractive pie. Anyway, Davanza's is definitely worth checking out while in PC... Park Ave, anyway. Davanza's Kimball has different owners, different recipes, and therefor, different not-so-amazing results.

  • Mike G.

Pretty dang good. Not the best pizza ever (ive had some dang good pizza) but still give a solid 7/10. fry sauce was awesome. People giving bad reviews are expecting best pizza on earth.... come on. Friendly service, good food.

    (4)
  • Charlie B.

Pizza is awful, sandwiches are okay. They are one of the few consistant deliver joints in town but that is all they have going for them.

  • Brent W.

Don't even try pizza from another location. Ordered takeout...bring a friend to hop out of the car...parking sucks. Pizza were ready fast even though restaurant was packed. Had three pies for four people in my family. Every one of them was gone as soon as I got it back to the condo. Great local venue...cool hangout - too cool for me...that why I did takeout.

Oh Davanza's! This was such a surprise to uncover in downton Park City! I was craving Italian and wanted to know a place where the locals eat. Come to find out I was only a block away from this hidden jewel. As you walk in you automatically figure out it's both a local and starving skiers hang out spot. The walls are decorated with cans of all sorts, high ceilings and bar located in the middle of the establishment, making it comfy and inviting. Don't be distracted so much by the deco that you forget to grab a chair or find an available table, seating is very limited! I was lucky enough to find a seat at the bar and ordered the PARMESAN + MOZZARELLA SANDWICH w/ FRIES. It was brought out in no time by a friendly cashier. First bite: Crunchy freshly baked buns Second bite: The fresh mozzarella was present in every bite Third bite: My Italian craving had been satisfied Will definitely have to come back for a pizza slice!

For what it is, a cheap pizza and taco place for when you come off the slopes, it is great. It's inexpensive and decent portions. The tacos are just $2 each and served street style with cilantro and onions. There's salsa on your table served in ketchup squeeze bottles, ha ha! And it's fun to look at all those cans of beer from all over the world stacked on the wall. My only complaint is they don't offer a "regular strength" beer option and the food comes out randomly at diff times if you're eating with a larger group (we were there with 5 and one friend's food took 5 mins longer than everyone else.) I realize it is not fine dining but that's a pretty big gap.

  • Jacqueline M.

In Park City, if you're looking for the cheap and a tasty eat Devanza's is the place to grab a slice of pizza or a taco. The restaurant has a good chill vibe, and isn't going to be fancy. The pizza is good by the slice or by the pie, especially with a beer or after a few beers. The tacos are very much like street truck tacos, not too pretty but filling. Plus this is a good restaurant for vegetarian options. That are not too many place the don't over charge you and not too many place that are pure local in PC.

    (4)
  • Bonnie C.

Davanza's has good food at a great price! Park City restaurants (Main St particularly) can get very expensive and this menu is a relief. The pizza is so-so, but I really like their burgers and other specials. A burger with fries and a drink is about $6.50. You can't get anything that cheap in Park City. DON'T MISS THE FRY SAUCE! It's amazing! The atmosphere looks like a place for high school kids to hang out, even features an old Pac-Man game. You get exactly what you expect here and I like that!

  • Andrew S.

We found this place on yelp after multiple disappointing PC meals. We were able to snag a table one night during the ncaa tourney and watch the game over some pizza and beer. The first thing to notice is the decor of old beer cans on the wall. It wont win any awards, but it makes the place fun. We ordered the garlic bread which more bread with a little garlic than garlic bread. We also got a couple large veggie pizzas. The pizzas came out quickly and went well with our blue moon. The sauce had a nice flavor and the crust, while a bit too thick for my liking, was cooked decently. All in all, the pizza is 3 stars (it is above average but wont rival the better places in the country--it is not even in their league) but the combo of the pizza, atmosphere, and lack of anything decent in the area earned this place 4 stars for a fun night out.

These guys have a really good laid back atmosphere. I came for the pizza and have to say that it was ok. It was a thin crust, but a little more dough than a normal thin crust. The toppings and cheese were good. The pizza was NOT greasy. The best part was the cracker-like edge of the crust. If I go back, I'll try something else.

  • Fredrick R.

Overpriced, long wait, not enough tomato sauce. Delivery man and crust both good.

Very friendly service. Nice laid back casual dining atmosphere. (4 and 3 stars respectively.) BUT.... If you like Totino's pizza then you'll love the pizza here. It was like they spruced up the aforementioned frozen pizzas with a few extra toppings. (.5 Star for the Pizza.) Also had the wings. Not bad, but not great. (2 Stars.) Prices were good for Park City, but I guess it is true you get what you pay for. I'll be fair in my rating. (2.4 stars rounded down to 2.)

Went to Devanza's back in 2007, during Sundance, and I have to say This Place Was AWESOME! My girlfriend and I went on a weekday, after a good day of snowboarding. My girlfriend was at Sundance for the whole two weeks and she said she ate her almost everyday, so the 4days I was in Utah I had to try all the hype. After snowboarding, us and a couple of friends, got a giant order of food. I remember we shared a small margherita pizza, 2 orders of buffalo wings, hot and bbq, and fries .. I had a Philly steak. I can't remember what my girlfriend or our friends had. But from all the things we ordered, every thing was GOOOOOD! Pizza was 5 out of 5, Wings were a 4 out of 5(Hot), and 5 out of 5(bbq)... i think the HOT should of had a little more kick. Fries were standard(which means still good, lol) and the cheese steak was Awesome 5 out of 5. The atmosphere was great when we were there! Loud, Upbeat, and Fun! I like all the beer cans on the walls, It made me want to come home and make my own monument of beers. What makes this a great place is that it's right at the base of the slopes and it's not a pricey place. You can ski or board down from the hill, grab a good bite to eat, relax then head back up, what more can you ask for when you vacation in Utah? lol. 5 STARS!

This place is AWESOME...as I'm sure the local ski kids will tell you. It's a fun, lively atmosphere. We came here after the snowboarding halfpipe Olympic trials on a Saturday night and it was packed. We figured this would be a cheaper and easier alternative than dealing with Main St. restaurants. We ordered a large meat lovers for 4 to share and it didn't take us long to find a table. The pizza was pretty tasty (but extremely greasy) and they have special bottles of sauce on the tables. Bonus star for their beer bottle collection covering the walls.

On our lazy day of being so sore and tired after 6 hours at the mountain, we decided to be lazy and order in! I looked online and read lots of great reviews so I knew we had to give them a shot- AND it was super close to our condo so we knew they would deliver. YUM! We got mozzarella sticks to share that were crispy, gooey and godly-- I think it was some sort of panko breading. We also got a large cheese pizza- the crust was awesome and it was a great value for the $$$.

  • Andy B.

I really wanted to like this place. The atmosphere is great for a ski town with a ton of vintage beer cans decorating the walls. The pizza was just really lackluster. I've seriously had better frozen pizza. The sauce was bland. No seasonings. The crust was thin and mealy and kind of fell apart in our hands. Go there for an après ski beer then go elsewhere for food...

I go here a lot, solo or with friends and I've consistently had a great experience. The staff is always friendly and the food both tastes great and is reasonably priced. just don't go during lunch...it's a zoo!

Service is always mediocre and the pizza is nothing to write home about. Good menu selection for a picky eater.

Tacos excellent. Burgers good. Service top notch. Way cool decor. Great loc. next to main st park city.

  • Catherine H.

For all the positive reviews, I expected something much better. Salad was adequate but pizza was what really killed it for me. It was tasteless and the crust was anything but good- Tasted like cardboard. The only thing that saves the place at all is the ambiance, the decor inside was cool to take a look at.

Great little pizza joint. Husband and I took a small vacation to Utah for the weekend. Glad we stopped in. Pizza is tasty. Service was awesome. Would highly recommend!

I'm not sure if this pizza was plain delicious, or if I was ravenous after a day on the slopes.. but man.. Davanza's certainly hit the spot! Bonus for all those neato beer cans all over the wall!

  • Tom K.

I used to go to Davanza's a lot for lunch when it was in the Albertson's shopping center. But since the move to downtown, I've not been there much. Our grandson wanted pizza last week so we gave it a try. It was pretty good. The atmosphere was fun and pizza pretty good. We paid around $18 for a pretty large meat lovers pizza which was way bigger than the two of us could handle. It is a pretty informal place with a bar-like atmosphere. In fact, it's really one of the only bar like places left in town. Yes, they have beer.

  • Bobby A.

We were looking for some pizza in Park City during the Sundance film festival. Yelp told us that this was the best place in town for some thin crusted goodness. $40 got us 2 large pizzas (one plain cheese, one with a bunch of toppings) and garlic bread. Both the pizzas and the garlic bread were bland and a little gross. I don't want to say it was inedible, but it had the flavor and texture of a pizza flavored pop tart.

  • Nicole B.

If you want terribly tasteless toppings on top of cardboard then this is the place for you! Don't be distracted by the gimmickry on the walls, just because they have a bunch of old beer cans doesn't make the food any better. My salad had one tiny quarter sized carrot with 3,000 olives and dry lettuce. In an attempt to salvage dinner and add a little flavor, I began adding ranch to my pizza..which was followed by red pepper, salt, hot sauce and parm cheese to no avail. The pineapple was worse than from a can. Even cheap pizza is better than this. Don't look for friendly service either; the staff is too cool to serve you.

    (1)
  • David B.

Over rated. Don't be fooled by the glowing reviews like I was. Just OK pizza, not good for kids, grungy bar setting. Nice staff, fast food in actual delivery and quality. I guess if you've had a couple beers, this may bump it up to two and a half stars, kind of like having "beer goggles" for food. The crust seems too perfectly round, most likely frozen. Definitely not hand made.

We LOVE Davanza's and always end up there when we're in PC. Pizza, burgers, tacos... it's all good. Don't expect 5-star cuisine but do expect a fun atmosphere and good service. Our pizza was good as always, the salad was super fresh and the kids loved their burgers. Don't miss this place next time

The staff is very very very hot! The Scene Just one convenient block from Main St., this busy eatery offers frat house dcor and "Cheers"-like service--the staff will make everyone feel like a local, safe from touristy prices. The parlor clearly doesn't take itself seriously, offering animal crackers at the bar, Corona beer patio furniture and at least 99 bottles of beer--not to mention a Farrah Fawcett poster--on the wall. Great food. I recomend the Chicken Club with fries...and get the fry sauce! I did not have a jim Beam there....i dont even know if they serve it. I would go back any day of the week.

I love this place! I didn't get to try out too many places because I keep coming back here! They have great pizza, wings, and tacos! They have an awesome atmosphere and pulls in a fun crowd. It can get rowdy sometimes but who cares! They're boys, snowboarding boys, and boys will be boys! Anyway, as long as they don't mess with you, just leave them alone! The best part is the price is pretty cheap! The food comes quick and did I mention it was GOOD..well it is. This place gets packed so expect to wait! You can always order food but there's not always a place to sit. It's worth the wait! I really want to go back for Sundance, eat here, and snowboard!!!

Used to frequent Davanza's in my high school days. Best pizza in town and by far the best fry sauce I've had (especially when paired with the pizza). Nice laid back atmosphere and friendly people. Perfect for a relatively cheap dinner (by PC standards) after a day on the mountain.

  • Karen J.

Very good thin-crust pizza -- almost like New York pizza (and east coast transplants will know how hard that is to find anywhere in the western US), but with its own take on it... very reasonably priced, friendly vibe, cool atmosphere. I wish we had Davanza's here in SLT.

    (4)
  • Greg D.

Davanzas is good for some quick relatively cheap pizza. If you like the thin crust variety, this place is pretty good. I don't really dig the thin, crispy crust that they have, but other than that I thought it was pretty good! I also love the beer cans that adorn the walls, among them some Colt 45 which just made me laugh. The service was good, really nice staff!

We actually went to the Salt Lake location... located at 2352 Foothill Dr. It's right behind the Chevron. We were trying to figure out where to go that 6 different people with 6 different places could go eat & make everyone happy. Well 1 friend suggested Davanza's... he said they go there for lunch probably 3 times a week. We went... had great food... and all talked about going back!

  • Dave R.

the BEST low priced food in Park City... and only steps away from the lift, do not suggest coming down for lunch while skiing on a weekend, every local kid is here for a cheap lunch... burger is better than most, pizza is good, the philly cheese steak is AWESOME... and my favorite are the new carne asada tacos and fish tacos... wings have great flavor too... bring the kids, dog and anyone to this place, try and count the beer cans... we have been eating here for 30 years with three or four different owners now, these guys have only added to the great reputation for good cheap eats!!!

  • Bryan A.

For some reason this place is a Park City Favorite. People seem to love the crappy pizza that this place offers. I have to say the do have good sandwiches and taco's. And if you pretend you are in High School that have a great Pizza/drink special. But then you have to eat the bad pizza. The nice thing is that this is possibly the only place that is open reasonably late, and they deliver everywhere in the greater PC area.

  • Miep G.

We have lived in Park City for years (part-time) and we gave up trying to find a good pizza delivery place. Finally, Davanza's got it right. The pizza crust is super thin (just the way we like like). Light and crispy, full of flavor and delivered quickly.

very tasty tacos and decent pizza - great alternative to the overpriced (mostly) blah restaurants in the area.

Nobody really wanted to go out our last night in town, so we all figured pizza was the way to go. Davanza's is just that pizza. Nothing great, but pretty good. Good service, the guy who took my $'s was real nice and they give you fresh Parmesan! Would definitely go back and recommend.

One of my favorite places to grab lunch or an easy dinner. They have the best pizza and hot sandwiches in town. Grab a beer and watch some sports as well. Ideal location since you can ski down grab lunch and take the town lift back up.

Park city has a ton of dining but it's all expensive and high end. Davanza's is one of the few choices of simple, casual, cheap and good. Ive ever eaten at Davanza's but have done takeout on a couple occasions. The atmosphere is fine, nothing fancy, but a cool local vibe. I had food issues. I must be gluten free and the menu does have something for most. My friends adore the Diablo burger, I'm a fan of the fish tacos. You can easily get out for less than $20 a person without booze so a huge bargain for park city dining.

Super cute restaurant in Park City. Loved all the beer cans on the walls. Food was pretty good to. I ordered the Margherita pizza and mozzarella sticks, both tasted great. Service was excellent as well. The place was packed when I was there, and saw a lot of large groups trying to come in and struggled to find seating. Probably not the best place for large groups.

Staff is laid back and kind. I had a burger and the kids had chicken fingers. Fries. Good stuff, good amount, fun atmosphere without being bar-scene-ish.

Got a classic - cheese pizza and really liked it. The crust was thin and crispy, reminiscent of east coast pizza. Cheese and sauce were good too. The environment was nice but seating a little tight. The service was good and helpful with what we needed when we needed something. I'd definitely go back.

Great street tacos. The corn tortillas are amazing and was told they are locally sourced. They are dipped in oil and lightly crispy yet still soft. The simple but perfect flavoring of the meats combined with the cilantro and onions were perfect for a late afternoon lunch.

If you're friends with someone that grew up in Park City, I guarantee that you have heard them talk about Davanza's. This was (and I assume still is, but I'm not a hip high schooler anymore) place to go in Park City for a quick and cheap bite. They have something caled the High School special where for five bucks, you get a slice, a drink and fries, pretty solid deal anywhere you go and especially one in Park City. Their pizza is the best in the Main Street area, leaps and bounds better than Park City Pizza and Noodle and they make it thin too. They have more than just pizza there, but it has been so long since I have had a burger or wings that I can't honestly speak to them anymore. But their pizza is still on point, so make sure you drop buy when you're up here.

  • Troy S.

The food and atmosphere is good, but they charged us an automatic 20% gratuity at the time of ordering because we were sitting as a group of six, even though we all ordered in line separately. This practice is borderline fraudulent because you order at a counter and they don't serve you at all after you get your food. You get your own drink refills and their "servers" don't have to deal with the large group factor at all.

In Park City, on a Sunday with a cranky, cranky, CRANKY toddler, wondering where we could go that would be OPEN on a Sunday, plus casual, affordable, family friendly and delish. YELP to the rescue! Davanza's came up, so away we went. It was great for us - cranky toddler disturbed no one. I had a meatball parm sub. It was excellent. Hubs said the Diablo burger lacked seasoning "All you taste is hot" but was ok. The fry sauce was terrific! Hubs felt it was a dupe of Zaxby's which in his mind is high praise! One thing we noticed was how very clean the place was, which is great to say! Overall a good experience and will return. Def. would like to try the pizza. As mentioned by others, this is a very small place, wouldn't recommend for groups of 5 or more.

Great spot for good pizza. Philly was great and mellow vibe for kids so it worked out great. Would definitely come back!

Davanza is a nice cheap place to grab some food when you're in Park City. It looked like a house transformed into a pizza joint. The interior is pretty small, but quite decorative with beer and soda cans, and Texas football décor. It took us a while to snag some seats because we came during a busy dinner hour. It took 30-45minutes for us to get our pizza but the employees here were super friendly and nice. They checked in with us many times, and busted our table promptly. The pizza is thin crust, overall very good, not too heavy. I would definitely come back again if I was in town!

Simple. Local. Owned by texans. Not too expensive. What's not to like people!!! I like this place. Had a really nice lunch with some great pizza (crust was excellent) - margherita style. My wife had a quesadillas and my son had a standard pepperoni pizza. The decor is a bit rustic with a million beer cans on the wall and up to the ceiling on little shelves. Stuff I've never seen as well as old favorites. Many styles and types on draft - at least a dozen or so from what I could tell. Good food, good bar and good service. For Park City it's a real value - you can eat lunch with three people for less than $40. I say go for it and give it a try!

This is a Pizza/Beer joint! Consistent food. Never changes. You know what you'll get. Cold beer and a slice. If you want a gourmet Slice...better get your American Express and go put your name on a wait list somewhere. This place is in a great location and fun for people watching during all times of year. This is where you go if you just want to casually hang out. The Philly is great (don't compare it, we are in Utah) and the Diablo burger is even better. Come in during the hot months or after skiing. If you want Whiskey, not here but guess what? Turn around and there's a distillery right across the street.

My husband and I stopped in for some pizza while we were out and about tonight. We were amazed at how good it was. Amazing homemade crust and sauce. The atmosphere and environment was really cool. Customer service was great. We will definitely go back!!

My husband had a trio of tacos, the bean and cheese, the grilled fish, and the carne asada. He like the carne asada best. I had the philly steak sub and it was delicious! The meat had good seasoning and there was plenty of cheese, the roll was nice too. Premium pints of beer for $3.50 can't be beat!

Stopped in after the Park Silly Market on a Sunday. Fun atmosphere and great service. Sat promptly and waitress was very attentive and always smiling. Garlic cheesy bread was divine. Prices very reasonable. Burgers were juicy, chicken cheese steak was really good, pizza was more food court quality. Over good experience and would go back.

Pretty good burgers (if you're in the mood for big, juicy, and a little greasy), and excellent, pleasant service. The servers were all extremely friendly and helpful, and I love the decor and casual feeling. Truly something unique for Park City!

  • Tyler B.

We were looking for good pizza at a decent price, and got just what we were looking for at Devanza's. We (there were 6 of us - 4 adults and 2 kids) got the combination and margherita pizzas with onion rings and cheese fries as appetizers. The pizza was really good, and had quality ingredients. Despite the fries being made with what looked like frozen krinkle cut fries, they were loaded with cheese and tasted great. The onion rings were also excellent with just the right amount of crisp in the onion and crunch of the breading. The fry sauce was awesome too - it had a nice spice to it. I'd recommend this place if you want a relaxed atmosphere and some good quick food.

Always our 1st stop in Park City. Wish they delivered in Newport Beach.

    (5)
  • Natalie B.

We ordered for delivery here. The pizza was not so good...the actual crust itself (the end part) seemed stale and brittle. The pizza itself was a too greasy. I made my own pizza and asked for garlic on it and it was just straight raw garlic and way too much of it, it's all I could taste. I don't think Park City has any good pizza places, so this may be the best in Park City but I don't think that's saying much.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

Burgers

Burger or Hamburger is savored as the most desired fast food meal in the United States. A hamburger is basically a sandwich prepared by stuffing ground meat patty, generally beef, between two slices of a bun cut in half. Hamburger is also famous for its seasoning. Most popular condiments used in hamburgers in the United States are mustard, mayonnaise, and ketchup. Besides ground meat patty, hamburgers are also stuffed with lettuce, onions, tomato slices, pickles, and cheese.

Hamburgers are also categorized into two types in the United States. Fast food hamburger and individual hamburgers served at restaurants are two basic types of burgers served in the United States. The individual hamburgers served at restaurants are prepared using everything including lettuce, onion, tomato, and sliced pickles as well as melted cheese on the patty or crumbled on top. American restaurants also serve veggie burgers for those who don't relish meat. Cheeseburgers are also hot favorite in the United States.

McDonalds is the most popular fast food burger restaurant serving different types of burgers in the United States. On the other hand, there are several restaurants such as Burger King are famous for serving the best hamburgers in the United States. Most burger restaurants in the United States often serve hamburgers with French fries and other condiments. If you have a liking for burgers in the United States, then you won't be disappointed. You can easily find the best burger restaurants in your city on our Restaurants Listings directory.
